![]() Wish alot more game reviews had stated this (by this, i mean the almost complete absence of skills/items/ways to heal health other then camping/resting at an inn) for had i known before hand, i most likely wouldint have bought this and pillars 2, but it was on sale when i got it and just assumed it would have healing spells in the traditional sense and health pots, for in truth, i didint know they made ANY kind of rpg almost fully void of such things until i played Pillars and ive played MANY rpgs/types of rpgs since the days when they started to come out on the NES console and PC. You mainly restore health via camping/resting at an inn. There also doesint seem to be any life leech in the traditional rpg sense aka life/health/hp/what ever you wanna call it steal (again, tryed to google it, and it turns out everyone is just talking about endurance which has so many ways to be restored in this game that its not even funny). There is 1 health restoring talent that you can burn one of your precious talent points you get via lvling that restores 20% of a friendly characters health over 9 seconds once per fight but thats it. Just a heads up though, there is ALOT to read/investigate, so if you dont got much patience for doing such things, then chances are this game is not for you.Īlso as a heads up, there is NO health healing spells or health potions in this game (you will find many and i do mean MANY, threads talking about healing this and healing that, but they are all referring to restoring endurance, NOT restoring hp/health). ![]() Combat is done in "real time" and can be paused when ever you want to have characters be repositioned or cast certain spells. Like the Divinity series, it has multiple difficulty settings for players of all strategic skill levels. But it's really bad that it takes that long to fix such major bugs which basically affect everyone and his dog.A decently enjoyable DnD style rpg with ALOT of story/lore/stuff to read in it. Well, let's say it's a game from Obsidian. ![]() >Bug when recruiting Pellegina (there is a quest, where you can opt to defend a guy, but this is never considered finished)Īnd you might also consider the wolf pet as bugged, as its the only pet which has all attributes on 10, which will be fixed in the next patch.īeing aware of the bug regarding the doubleclicking on items and the issue with the castle, I avoided these so far. >Pellegina has negative DR, might also be the item stacking bug >Kana has 28 Intelligence, item stacking bug >German Translation (horrible mess, item Names are mixed strings, like a spear is called "Intellect + 2" So for now I encountered following bugs in my game: Now I am hoping that they will be able to fix it retroactively. Thing is, that it doesn't even look as if it was a bug when playing. It’s important that people feel they can trust us and that the game is going to be good when it comes out, but we know that given that it’s and RPG being made from scratch, and an engine that we haven’t worked with before, there’s always going to be some weird stuff that… you know… a few hundred people who might have played the game is not the same as hundreds of thousands of people… But we’re ready!"Īfter you interacted with Maerwald you are supposed to decide something and also get a new Ability through a dialogue.įor some players (including me) this dialogue never happened. Then we’re going have another patch after that to fix the longer term things people are going to encounter. Basically, we’re ready so that when people find things, we’re going to turn around and fix them as soon as possible come out with a patch as soon as possible fix anything big. "With any RPG of this size there’s so many things you can do that I’m sure people are going to find something that we didn’t find when it comes out. I would imagine you're not hearing much from a small team because they're too busy fixing the bugs. ![]()
